My stay at the hotel was amazing, the room was spacious, Beautiful and clean, the outside views are absolutely amazing and restuarants and bars as well. The staff is very friendly.

It was a great stay, The property is beautiful and the sounds from the surroundings of animals, birds and insects was magical. All staff is helpful and friendly and wants to make your stay the best experience ever. The room I stayed in was cozy and comfortable. Tip: Bring along your own mosquito repellant for yourself and for your room

Was a great stay at the resort, we were well looked after and hosted. Everything that we needed was either catered for and taken care of. Would highly recommending staying at Fairview Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort.

Old fashioned hotel, high ceilings, with thatched roofs. The bedroom is fine with a large, well designed bathroom. The WiFi did not work to start with but a staff member came and fixed it. Breakfast was fine, a typical South African breakfast spread, hot and cold, with excellent fruit. A dinner with vegetarian pizza - good but not crisp enough, and a fillet steak in pepper sauce that was excellent. The pub is pleasant but the service is slow, I guess this is a rural setting, ao one must relax and slow down. There is no immediate rush. The business side worked well and the Avocado Symposium ran smoothly, in an excellent presentation room with a good AV and microphone system. The lunch was a bit sparse, and dinner braai ran out of meat, when I got to it. It poured with rain, which made the room smell a bit musty, but that is part of the ambiance, I think. Tzaneen is pretty tropical in summer. Overall, a pleasant stay, nice bed, nice room, pleasant staff, good food.

Rooms unclean and poorly maintained, constant smell of sewerage, neighbours playing music until all hours, restaurant food service extremely slow, poor breakfast

The accommodation was good overall, we booked two rooms but only ended using one because of our family dynamics. Breakfast was underwhelming, yet the service was descent. The place is wonderful though and close to quality shops which was a plus for us.
